Lol,yesterday was quite a tiring day for me. Went to a steamboat dinner to celebrate CNY and also for me to see the new Sec 1 juniors. Most of them were quite okay, just some of them were quite childish. One of them kept on taking photos of his friends and Fann Wong(from the abalone posters, of course) and altering them on his phone...Anyway boys will be boys, so I just left them alone..Had a meeting while eating dinner, which was quite unproductive as we were all busy trying to cook and LC was ogling at the girls passing by our table, not that they were pretty(at least not to me.lol) Then the best part came when the officers and primers decided to go to a jazz bar and just chill out. The bar was quite empty when we went there and it was just what we needed. The atmosphere was quite nice there, with the soothing jazz music from the band, and also the quietness from the relatively-empty bar.And judging by the crowd in the bar, we knew that we were quite early. We ordered at least 6 jugs of heineken for 9 people and we were all entitled to 2.5 glasses of it. Being a noob alcoholic, I was feeling quite drunk after the 1st glass. But not wanting to be a wet blanket, I just summoned some super-human strength and forced the other 1.5 glasses down and I was rewarded with instant dizzyness. Had a serious headache after that and thank god I managed to catch bus 199 home.haha :)

Today was quite a boring day, just spent almost the whole day helping my mum with her housework. I guess this scene is repeating itself throughout most of the Jobless Clan. Anyway, in a fit of boredom, I learnt how to cook a few dishes from my mum. The results, according to her, wasn't bad. For me, the results were just normal. Hmmmm, maybe I can continue learning from her. Haha, for those who are expecting me to be a world class chef or a spate of food poisoning cases, sorry to disappoint you. My standards are just normal for a beginner. Anyway those who can think of some constructive activity to help me spend my time, please ag it. I would be very appreciative of it. Thanks! :)

You are sociable, outgoing, energetic, and lively. You prefer to be around people much of the time. Stressful and frustrating situations can sometimes be upsetting to you, but you are often able to get over these feelings and cope with these situations. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. You have some concern with others' needs, and are generally pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You set clear goals and pursue them with determination. People regard you as reliable and hard-working.The results for a personality test..All my characteristics summed up here succinctly..The boredom of joblessness has already sunk in deep and I can't stand it..well guess I would just keep on playing Gunbound this few days..haha off to see a movie le..:)

Took a career test and here are the results.
People with red Interests like hands-on / problem solving job responsibilities and professions that involve practical, technical, and objective activities. Red Interests include: building, implementing, organizing, producing, and delegating, which often lead to work in manufacturing, managing, directing, small business owning, and surgery.
People with yellow styles perform their job responsibilities in a manner that is orderly and planned to meet a known schedule. They prefer to work where things get done with a minimum of interpretation and unexpected change. People with a yellow style tend to be orderly, cautious, structured, loyal, systematic, solitary, methodical, and organized, and usually thrive in a research-oriented, predictable, established, controlled, measurable, orderly environment. You will want to choose a work environment or career path in which your style is welcomed and produces results.
Well, I was kind of bored, so just went surfing around the web and took this test. Was kind of short, but what to expect from a free test.Maybe I should just go look through my long-neglected advanced theory driving textbook.:-\

Lol, with help from someone, I finally uploaded music to my blog. Many thanks to that person, haha. Work finally ended on Friday and went for aileen's birthday party. We just had a simple dinner and enjoyed the presence of friends. Haha, Jason really slimmed down after a few weeks of NS. Well, hopefully NS would also do the same for me. Then woke up on Sat to go play basketball with the guys for abt an hour. Most were late because of oversleeping or whatsoever reason. Not that I blame them anyway, I understand their need for sleep too. That short game of basketball was therapy for my tormented soul at work, and my stress just disappeared after that gae. After which we went for a bowling game at CDANS.I did not bowl for a long time, which explained my not-too-good score.Haha,I guess I have to practise bowling during my not-too-long break. Actually after today, I would not have much to do and I was thinking of how to occupy my time during the period before NS.Ideas are certainly welcome.Maybe I would return to playing Virtual Stock Exchange, a free online stock-trading game that uses online currency, which I have been playing to prepare for my possible forays into the real-life stock market in the future.:P

Lol, its Valentine's Day and I'm here dating my com, well sort of. Gave a little present and a card to the girl I met in Yew Tee, but I was too late. She went back to Malaysia for CNY.Damn!Hopefully she receives them when she comes back.:) Anyway, I passed my Basic Theory Test and got my Provisional Driving License. Starting my driving lessons soon, hopefully nothing bad happens..Anyway today was a lousy day at work, with 400 cartons of drinks to be stocked on the shelves and I was so tired after that. Hopefully tomorrow would be a less hectic day. Just now I just realised how superstitious Singaporeans can be. There was a VERY LONG queue at the TOTO booth at JP Liberty. It stretched at least twice the length of the supermarket and people were just queuing up patiently. I was like,"hey guys, most of you all would not win anything anyway, so you all might as well give up and do something constructive ba." Doesnt sound nice, but it is the truth. And as my friends would know, I am a direct person because I do not want people to misunderstand my words. So sorry if I have offended anyone in any way, not that they would see this entry anyway.haha

Hmm..as the festive season approaches, aunties normally hostile to me suddenly spend their time crapping with me, not that we have much to crap about, while some aunties such as the pig-faced auntie at JP NTUC still remains hostile. I guess pig-face must be the lucky one working during New Year's eve or during the 1st day of New Year :-X Lol, went to the NTU talk on Sunday alone and saw Min Shan with her Mum there and Leeling with her friend. And yes, looking at my performance at the A levels, I guess I be destined to go to NTU, forget about the previous talk about getting AAAA1 and going to NUS. Well, a ACBB3 would be enough for me, I guess..Anyway the talk by the lecturer from the school of biological science wasn't very inspiring, due to the fact that he was stammering throughout the talk, which sort of put me off. But anyway, I guess I be taking that Bio course in uni, since I'm interested in Bio. Can't expect me to suddenly change and take engineering, although some of my friends know that I am capable of sudden reversals. My attitude after A levels really changed. Suddenly I detest the sight of books or the mere thought of studying. Talk to me about studying and I will burst into a tirade which no one thought I be capable of..haha

Haiz, finally finished helping my mum springclean for CNY. A bit tired, but was all right. I wondered about when I would make my mark in life, like a China cousin who got his Master's degree at 16, and another China cousin who got his PHD at 18. Too bad our education system is rigid and does not allow us to skip grades, not that I can anyway. I also wondered about what I want to do in the future, which until now, I have no idea.Well, hopefully I can go to university and garner remarkable academic achievements like the China cousins, while still having a social life of course. Hopefully my parents can stop telling me to be like one of my paternal cousins who got a degree in aeronautical engineering after graduating from poly, and just let me enjoy life. Wonder why must we be so competitive, there's no harm in getting second or third. I guess in the future, I would just get a job with a slightly higher than average income, a smart and feminine wife, then start a family and live peacefully. I see no point in joining the rat race and slogging out our guts and losing everything in the end when we die.Haha, off to study for my Basic Theory test le, bye!

Lol, finally heeded the advice from my friends and decided to forget about GP, lest the friendly policeman from the police station across my block decides to give me a pre-CNY visit. Looks like everyone is concerned about the impending release of results, particularly my sister who is going to get her O level results tomorrow. Well, what is done is done. Our results are not determined by how much sleep we lose the night before the release of the results, so no point losing sleep over it. Well today was a normal day at work, better than the day before where I was scolded the whole day by a mentally unsound worker at JP NTUC for asking him a question. Hopefully he does not disturb me again tomorrow when I go back there to work. Now getting a bit busier due to coming CNY celebrations as we have to replenish the fast disappearing drinks at the supermarkets and the best part is, there will be more to come next week. My supervisor told me that she has just ordered large quantities of drinks that would be delivered to the supermarkets next week. Hopefully have time to study for my basic theory test next Tuesday. As my eyesight isnt that fantastic, maybe I will be getting contact lenses to help me pass through that stupid eyesight test. Haiz, got to go study for that theory test le -_-

In response to Yun Jie's concerns about perishing after being mentiond on my blog, this is to assure everyone that being mentioned on my blog is totally harmless and the offending footer has been changed. Lol. Td was a tiring day and I was almost late for tuition. The best part is e person whom I am tutoring did not have his Sci textbook with him, so I just imparted him all that I know up till Sec 4 on chemical bonding. Not that he was interested anyway.
Heard that the US and Israel are planning strategic strikes on Iran's nuclear facility. Hmm, hopefully they would finally be enlightened to the fact that military strikes do not solve anything ( well, not this anyway). I belong to the faction who believes that if Iran was to be attacked, It would close the Straits of Hormuz, vital to the world's oil supply. This would send oil and utility prices shooting through the roof. Maybe Dick Cheney, the US VP would strongly benefit from this, as he is a major stockholder of Halliburton, a MNC with dealings in energy. If oil prices shoots up, he will be swimming in seas of $$$. Gd for him, and bad for us...

Haha, finally my blog is up w help frm YJ n YY..lots of thanks to them, or his blog would not have seen e light of day..td was quite a siong day at work. had to push a 54kg load up a 20 degree slope leading to NTUC, which i accomplished with some difficulty. This led to a feeling of invincibility which then disappeared when I needed the NTUC manager to help me push a 40kg load up tt slope again..other than tt, everyting was fine. Heard Singapore drew Thailand last night and that Singapore won Thailand overall. Hope the Thais dun come up with some weird accusations again this time, or they will be known as the "Land of Sore Losers" or "Land of Thousand Smiles and Knifes", from the phrase Xiao Li Cang Dao and the fact that they are known as the "Land Of Thousand Smiles". Lol, after reading YY's blog full of dread abt work, I came to appreciate my job, with all e supervisors taking gd care of me . Although the job is repetitive and I may meet some NTUC managers who are jerks, at least I get a lot of travelling and physical activity, which prevent me frm falling asleep. Hopefully nth bad happens tml, and I dun nid to postpone the tuition session with my officer's son tml nite:)
